NEW YORK, NEW YORK May 9, 2014: Atlas Music Publishing is pleased to announce that it has signed a long term, worldwide, co-publishing agreement with Grammy Award winner, musician, songwriter, and producer, Printz Board. As a band member of the Black Eyed Peas, Board has been an essential part of the group’s success, co-writing songs like “Don’t Phunk With My Heart,” “Where is the Love?,” and “Meet Me Halfway,” and serving as musical director for the group’s massive live shows. Board has won multiple Grammy Awards for his work with the Peas, including one for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group for 2007’s “My Humps” and Best Pop Vocal Album for The E.N.D. in 2010. Other accolades have included BMI Songwriter Awards for “Where is the Love?” and “Meet Me Halfway.”

In 2001, Printz Board founded his own production company, Beets & Produce, Inc., which has since expanded to include talent management, a record label, and music publishing, in addition to a variety of other new media ventures. As a highly in-demand producer and songwriter, Printz Board has worked with artists as diverse as Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Natasha Bedingfield, Katy Perry, Dr. Dre, Chris Brown, Selena Gomez, and Sheryl Crow. Most recently, Printz Board has embarked on a solo career with singles “#1,” “Love Love Love,” and “Hey You,” and prominent features on MTV’s “Buzzworthy.”

Atlas CEO Richard Stumpf enthuses: “Since meeting Printz over 10 years ago, and seeing him operate as the Musical Director of the Black Eyed Peas, I’ve always wanted to work with him. I witnessed him play for 8 straight hours with many artists at a Pea Pod event and it was just incredible. He is a musical genius and in addition to being a vital part of the Peas success, he is now starting out as a solo artist. We are finally at a point where we can work together and I couldn’t be happier to welcome him to the Atlas family."

Printz Board is equally effusive, declaring: "They say that life changes, and that's what I intend to do with Atlas - change lives. There couldn't be a better fit for me. I love the personal attention I get with Atlas."

"I'm f$*&#÷ pumped!"
