NEW YORK, NEW YORK MARCH 9, 2014: Atlas Music Publishing is pleased to announce the signing of a worldwide, multi-year co-publishing agreement with the extraordinary Australian duo, Falls. Consisting of Melinda Kerwin and Simon Rudston- Brown, the pair have toured their home country with the likes of Of Monsters And Men, Passenger, and The Lumineers . Falls are fast developing a very impressive live resume which also includes performances at CMJ, and the upcoming Sundance and SXSW festivals. In late 2013 the band signed to Verve Records and are about to embark on a nearly sold out tour with Delta Rae.

"From the moment we met Rich we knew he was someone we wanted to work with. His enthusiasm is infectious and we are very excited to be working with him and the rest of the team at Atlas,” said Melinda Kerwin.

“This is a band you can’t help but love on first listen,” said Molly Seel, Senior Manager of Creative Services. “Their lyrics are poignant and melodies beautiful, creating timeless music. I greatly look forward to working with both Melinda and Simon.”

Richard Stumpf, CEO of Atlas, said, “Molly was dead on when she told me that I’d want to sign them after seeing them once. ‘Once’ was at the SoHo House LA and between the performance and the shared conversations till the wee hours afterwards, it was clear to me that we needed to play a part in helping this group bring their music to the masses. Add to the band’s talent the energy of their star manager, Evan Winiker, and you’ve got a recipe for success.”

"Rich, Jennifer and Molly bring both a knowledge and passion that is hard to find in the publishing world. Their years of experience, proactive work ethic and tenacity made Atlas the perfect publishing partner for Falls," remarked Evan Winiker.
