Atlas Music Publishing Expanding

NEW YORK, NY (January 26, 2016) – Atlas Music Publishing announces three new additions to its team and a number of promotions. Veteran A&R man and manager, Chris Jones, has partnered with Atlas in Atlanta, forming State Line / Atlas with a focus on Urban/Pop music. Rob Levin joins Atlas’ LA team in the Creative Synch department, and Andy Golden joins the Operations team in NYC.

In addition to adding new faces, Atlas has also promoted a number of its staff. Ryan Brodhead is now VP Licensing, Administration and Royalties (formerly, Snr Director). Molly Seel Jonke, Jake Simon and Kristen Bushnell have been elevated to Directors within the Creative / Synch teams (formerly, Snr Managers). Finally, Caitlin Haurie has been promoted to Coordinator within the Creative Synch team in NY (formerly, assistant).

“What separates Atlas from the rest comes down to the team. To be successful and create a truly proactive home for our writers, it is imperative that we have the right staff in the right positions. I constantly hear about companies downsizing and staff having to handle twice the workload, which of course is terrible for both the staff and the artists. These additions and promotions reflect Atlas’ commitment to building a well thought out staff that does the best job possible for our clients,” said Richard Stumpf, CEO of Atlas.

Founded by Richard Stumpf (CEO) in 2013, Atlas Music Publishing is a service-oriented, digital market minded alternative to big box, high volume music publishing. Atlas was built on the belief that “Bigger is not better. Better is better.” Bringing together a team of veteran music publishing executives with proven track records, the company currently represents songs performed by top stars including Madonna, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Luke Bryan, Keyshia Cole, Icona Pop, Prince Royce and Colbie Caillat. The company boasts a roster of hit-makers that spans multiple genres including Van Halen, Toby Gad, Printz Board, Dan the Automator, Mike & Keys, Matthew West and Ashley Gorley as well as emerging artists Falls, Alex Winston, Alex Vargas, and Secret Weapons, amongst others. Well-funded by a mix of long-term strategic and financial partners with access to up to $400 million in capital, Atlas provides its writers with on the ground representation in every global territory, with its headquarters based in New York.
