The Atlas team are bringing something new and exciting to music publishing. They know what it takes to service songwriters in today's music landscape. I've worked with Rich since signing the Black Eyed Peas to Cherry Lane over a decade ago.

Atlas was founded in 2014 by long time music industry executive Richard Stumpf. He saw a void in the music publishing sector due to the acquisition & consolidation of reputable independent brands by larger conglomerates, as well as the growing value proposition resulting from monetized digital distribution, namely streaming. Artists wanted a home and employees wanted an environment focused on progress and solutions where their skills could be fully utilized and creative appetites satisfied.
With the help of capital partners which included Goldman Sachs executive, Michael Dawley, Atlas was born, creating a home for top talent and staff alike.
The Atlas team, which includes notable publishing executive and partner Phil Cialdella, is a highly respected group of seasoned veterans and young stars who have published songs from clients ranging from legends such as Elvis Presley, Quincy Jones, John Denver, Ashford & Simpson, and Sammy Cahn to hitmakers like John Legend, The Black Eyed Peas, Ne-Yo, Mark Ronson, John Shanks, Mariibeatz and Toby Gad.
In 2019, Atlas was awarded the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) “Indie Award” which recognizes individuals and organizations that have contributed significantly to the independent music publishing industry.
